Project Details
Node.js is an open-source, cross-platform JavaScript run-time environment that executes JavaScript code outside of a browser. Historically, JavaScript was used primarily for client-side scripting, in which scripts written in JavaScript are embedded in a webpage's HTML and run client-side by a JavaScript engine in the user's web browser. Node.js lets developers use JavaScript to write Command Line tools and for server-side scripting—running scripts server-side to produce dynamic web page content before the page is sent to the user's web browser. Node.js allows the creation of Web servers and networking tools using JavaScript and a collection of "modules" that handle various core functionality.
Because Node.js is considered a somewhat hard project to translate, I've decided that I'll help in its translation, since I'm one of the most experienced Polish translators available on DaVinci Witness Project at this moment.
Contribution Specifications
Translation Overview
In this part I've focused on continuing the translation of the addons.md file (leaving it at about 50% completion), the above mentioned file focuses on explaining the Node.js addons, as well as using various libraries.
Languages
I've been translating the project from English to Polish, while I was born in Poland, I'm fairly certain that my native language is nearly perfect, and since I've been living in Scotland for a few months and I'm using English daily I'm also convinced that my English stands at a high level.
Word Count
Crowdin reports shows the number of 713 translated words, there were basically no duplicate words/strings, and there was also a really low number of static text strings and because of that, I'm sure that the "true" number of translated words is really close to the one stated on Crowdin reports
