Its not the first time someone is saying ‘early to bed, early to rise. Some of us wish it was the other way round. Come on, I've got a lot of interesting stuffs to do at night. Nights are for catch ups. I have to chat with friends on social medias, play games and read books online. Sometimes I forget I have to leave for work very early the next day except on weekends. Who starts work as early as 7am, well I do. Too early right? Told my boss countless times but she wouldn't concur. She says time is precious and should be used to wisely. Well I do agree with her but not this early. I've been queried 3times for being late to work . My boss is a wonderful woman but when it comes to work she takes everything seriously. I'm not ready to lose my job so I decided to download an app to help me maintain a healthy sleep schedule.

Functions
It allows you set your bedtime and monitors your phone's inactivity after bedtime notification pops up.
If you are still active, it keeps sending in notification depending on the time interval set on the Notification Interval.
Once Smart Notification is enabled, the app sends you notification until your phone is considered inactive by the app's Inactivity timer.
If peradventure you open the app again after bedtime, it tells you how many minute pass bedtime and asks you the question WHY AREN'T YOU SLEEPING? If you click on 'go to sleep' it automatically puts your phone in DND mode.
Go to sleep VS Android Inbuilt Alarm
The first image is that of Go to Sleep and the second that of my Android Inbuilt Alarm
Go to sleep allows you set bedtime just like your Android inbuilt alarm. They both notify you when the set time is reached. With your Android inbuilt alarm, you can select days you want your alarm to be repeated but with Go to Sleep you set it just once, it doesn't have repeat mode meaning you have to open the app to set your bedtime everyday. If allowed, Go to Sleep enables DND(Do not disturb) immediately you click on “I'm going to sleep" when the notification is shown. Unlike my Android inbuilt alarm, I don't understand why it doesn't make sound when notification is shown even after enabling Notification Sounds.
Project Update
After the last update, there hasn't been any code or development update. But, he changed the Readme.md file which allows you to Donate and Support the developer.
Summary
Go to Sleep is an amazing app but it still needs a lot of work especially on the Sound Notification. Who wouldn't want to hear a cool song or a lullaby that captures your mind and drag it straight to dreamland each time it notification pops up. Though the builder promised to improve the settings in the next version.
