So I have finally been locked out of my steem account because it was more than likely hacked.. This is very worrisome for me because steem is my favorite asset and it has been so good to me until now.

So what can we do to prevent this from happening in the future ? Since this is not a tutorial on storing keys, I will make a few suggestions on how we can recover keys for myself as well as others who may be in the same situation.

Suggestions

• Locked Accounts for those who are holding long term that can only be accessed through a large number of questions the user is asked when obtaining a steem account ( Not personal but inherently tricky questions only the creator of the account could confirm. )

• A certain measure of data that verifies the user through a 24 hr web search by the user, monitored by a algorithmic bot that can analyze the data that user transferred and received during the time period.

• eg)* User jumps onto 100 different web pages also filling out some forms along the way about the sites that he is visiting because these sites were used before his account creation, signifying that only he have made the account. proof of data

• LifeKeys that track the user instead of the user tracking his keys.. The longer you live the stronger your seed grows verifying the user his life of work.

I wish I would have spent more time learning about the code instead of worrying about meaning. Cryptographic messages are only as valid as the user until the message becomes the user .
