Components
A video Transcoder is an open source application that is capable of converting a video file from one format to another.
it is an application which uses the open source program FFmpeg to transcode video files from one format to another. By selecting the video to process, details for the video are provided and the desired settings can be configured.
Video transcoder has the capacity to trim video and extract audio. Looking at this feature, i believe more can be attached to compliment it and make the app more sophisticated.
Proposal
After video has been converted to audio, there is always a message displaying that the file was written to /storage/emulated/0/music/. This looks very confusing. i will rather propose that
.1 There should be a default folder to store transcoded videos to audio
.2 The audio files should be listed accordingly to form a playlist
.3 The audio files should be able to be set as ring tone and share to other platforms.
In the video transcoder, having all these inplace will change the total look of the app. The default file will be embedded on the top right corner of the app.whenever any video is transcoded, it automatically saves in the default folder accordingly in such a way that it can be played like a music player when a play button is hit.
each transcoded video when long pressed will display options in a drop down showing "Set As Ring Tone and Share which can be selected to perform desired action.

From the above image, once the two dotted line is pressed,it shows a drop down where set as ringtone and share can be chosen.
Benefits
Having these features will help the app to store audio file in an easy location to be accessed at any point in time..
The entire screen of the app will have a new look ,the audio files can be played and enjoyed sequentially.
it will be easy to set any desired song as ring tone directly from video transcoder and these songs can be shared to different destinations.
Having these things implemented on Transcoder will make it more unique and users will find it a lot more interesting and it will also encourage potential user to join in using this wonderful app.
