Users of Openintents Notepad should be able to set reminder to important upcoming events.

Components

The Openintents Notepad is an open source application notepad that is provided with the Android SDK. Openintents Notepad allows users to create, edit, send, and delete notes. But it doesn't have date for events reminder.

Proposal

I propose that the developers of this application should make it possible for users to set a reminder to events or notes that is saved on the app. This feature will help notify users of events which had been scheduled by the user. Users should be able to set a reminder to important meetings or events that have been entered or scheduled earlier.

After creating an event, you click on menu

Benefits

If this is done, it will be so useful to the users, especially as one who tends to forget important events can actually get reminded. And this would also be a plus to the company, for it will attracts new users.
