Whitepaper:
"While Steem’s proof of brain relies on rewarding users via human interaction/upvotes, we adjusted this concept and morphed it into our own vision, termed “Proof of Activity”, which relies - amongst others on a user’s tracked activity throughout a single unit of measurement, the day.
Actifit introduced the concept of “Proof of Activity” for reward on the Steem blockchain. This would require users to provide proof of performing movements through the day and receive rewards accordingly.
The proof of activity relies on automated capturing of said activity, whereby our mobile app, both on Android and iOS devices, records user’s activity count throughout the day (any activity that involves movement, with a focus on steps) relying on sensor data, and enables the user to send out this data to their Actifit account, via a daily report card of tracked activity. " (1)
A word about the team behind this innovative project:
"Actifit started as a personal motivation idea by its founder, Mohammad Farhat, a hands-on technical entrepreneur with more than 20 years of global professional experience in the software industry, and then metamorphosed into a vision for changing people’s lives and improving the world.
Actifit team presently includes more than 25 members, including developers, social media experts, moderators, community managers, and ambassadors, but also 5 sponsored athletes, among which are professionally ranked athletes in badminton, namely Lasitha Menaka and Christine Look." (1)
The project is in constant evolution, thus we can expect more good news from it in the near future.
The project on crowding aims to provide a proper localization for the front-end of the project, in addition to the app for both Android and IOS.
- Some strings are not fragmented in the proper way, hence the importance of having a look at the website and the app to know exactly how to translate and link some strings with each other.
- Codes, as always, make it very hard to translate, but I will check with the PO after pushing the translation to the front-end if any tweaks are needed afterward.
I started working on the project because the request was critical from the project owner, and since the project is listed as a VIPO (Very Important Project Owner) in utopian, the project automatically earns the priority over other projects. without mentioning that I personally like this project and know since day one that it has something special. Hoping that the project will thrive even more and help the steem ecosystem to flourish. As a note, I will probably merge the second fragment of this project with the other project I am working on to reach the minimum required word count.
Well, as I mentioned in the key information section, I really had to do a lot of edit operations to make sure that the strings are properly linked. Having a look at the website was indeed very helpful since it's impossible to translate the strings properly just by looking at the strings alone. I also made a few tweaks and change to some strings to make it easier for a lambda Arabic user to understand.
