Steemit.com: Ability to Find People We Know Through Email and Phone Number

INTRODUCTION
Steemit is a fully functional social community, were people love the share their lives and experience with people they may not know but also with people they already know. They may be people I already know who are signed up on steemit but I may not know if they don’t tell me, as a social person I would love for the people I know to be part of my circle here on steemit.
STATEMENT OF PROBLEM
A lot of people I may know might be on steemit already but I haven’t connected with them yet because it would be hard to do so with just finding people by their user names. The problem is basically there is no way I can use the emails and phone number on my phone to easily find people I know on the steemit community which would be great. Below is a screenshot of the only option available to us as at now which is to use the search area.

SUGGESTED SOLUTION
My suggested solution is a really straight forward one, I would love for a button to be added near the search area where we can click to find people via their emails and phone number, it would really be a great thing as it would help the community and its users in a lot of ways. Below is a screenshot of how I would love the solution to be presented.
