Introduction
Hello guys, we are back once more on my posts and I would be on hold with the Steemplus series. And that is the extension that has made contributions easier. It has also added more color to the platform. Hence, I would be going straight to the point.
I would hope that you reading this post must have gone through other episodes. As indicated above, I would be speaking very brief on the Utopian Rocks and not Steemplus. The reason for this is to explain some features on the Utopian Rocks. As every other extension either on the blockchain or out, it has an important role.
As explained in one of my previous posts, an extension can be an extension. Only when it makes the functionality of a webpage or site easier. It also enhances and increases the use of the webpage or site.
What is the Utopian.Rocks extension??
The Utopian Rocks is an extension like the Steemplus extension. But of course, it comes with a different goal or aim. The extension is being made to enhance the submitting of posts. It aims at making this post submission to Utopian easier as it brings a lot of experience. Also, the posts are being done through the Steemit frontend. At the moment, the team are working to make posting also possible through the Busy frontend too. Hence, every one of the user like me are still waiting on the update. But already, like the Steemplus which comes with a lot of stunning features, so does it too.
Now, it is not as though the Utopian Rocks is here to wipe off the Steemplus extension but it comes to ease things. With some features present on the Steemplus extension, it heads towards its goal. At the moment, the project is still quite new as it came in last month but with time, growth is sure.
How the Extension runs

That was not all as the developers also introduced the Utopian Rocks API. This was being included in the technology stack for its role. The role was for receiving information about contributions. Hence, with these combination of technology, the extension runs. But for sure, it would be needing more technologies in an update.
Features of the Utopian Rocks Extension
For the Utopian Rocks to achieve their aim, there have to be some work to do. Hence, the developers are still working on new features that will improve its display. At the moment, I would only speak on the features the extension has presented. This would be due to the fact that we are still awaiting updates. These features include:
A. Translations Template
When making use of the extension on the Steem platform, you could of course make your post. That is the same way it is on the Steemplus platform. But then, it comes with the template for translations. This is a very good development and think-up made by the developers.
They have now made it easy for those who do translations to get rewards. Right there on the platform, after writing a post, they could post it under translations. After you have done that, and made your post, your rewards comes as per translator.
Now, when making this post, note that you should use the category “Translations”. If you don’t do so, you could as well use translations as your second tag. While you should ensure you carry out these is for proper setting. Your beneficiary will be set in a correct pattern hence making you set for a reward.
B. Post Status Information
Everyone on the Steem platform would be so sure to keep good track of their posts. They would like to know how it is faring and what to expect of it. Hence, the Utopian Rocks extension landed right now at your doorstep. This is one of the great features and a reason while I sometimes use this extension.
Sometimes, if I could join the two extensions together in one and enjoy their features. I would do that immediately. This is because they are quite stunning. Under this feature, you could check out quite some important information on your post.
You could now see if your post is awaiting a review. This means that your post hasn’t yet undergone a review and is still in line for review. You could also see there if it is being reviewed at the moment and who is reviewing it. That is also a good ability as some moderator names depict your score. No offense but by mere seeing a name, you could even know your score.
Another information that appear is the position your post occupy in the voting queue. That is also a good one if you can’t wait for the vote to come. You could be like me that is so enthusiastic on this. The last information one sees is the score you received. That is the info which shatters or mends some people’s curiosity. As for me, I still go ahead to view it as the developers actually did a good work on that.
Hence, with all these information, you could know how to follow up your post. It is quite a wonderful feature introduced for the extension.
C. Utopian Templates
Another wonderful feature of this great extension is the Utopian template then included. As the extension it is, it gives you the ability to have your post done by Utopian. Hence, with this template, you enter in your post and click on a Utopian tag. As default setting, the post bears the Utopian tag with the one you selected.
When at last, you click on the post with Utopian button, it is then submitted by Utopian. All it takes is a click of a button. Now, you might have chosen that by mistake and wish to change it. The extension also pop up a warning of post overwrite. This makes it possible for you to withdraw if you wish to. Hence, it means that you can in a safe way make post without the mistake.
D. Free Beneficiaries
This is a very good feature added by the developers in this extension that users appreciate. This is one reason that many users use this extension. The fact that you use this free of charge. For a post done on the Utopian platform with beneficiaries set correct, there was a higher upvote.
A lot of people were happy about this but many popular interfaces made it not easy for one do that. Sometime, you could make mistakes when using them. The Steemplus extension came and made this very possible and easy with a lot of features. Hence, people used it but with a 1% cut to Steemplus.
This was the reason that made people swarm on the Utopian Rocks when it came free. Now, you don’t need to lose a 1% cut to the extension for your post made. The 1% cut seems so little but for some posts or people, it means something. Hence, the coming of the extension answered their prayers.
Conclusion
With the above features, the Utopian Rocks extension comes an added new feeling. This comes in play when you make use of it. Now, the extension as reviewed by some may not be the best but it may be some best. For those who need the features I have outlined here, they have made their choice on it. For those who decide they need more, they also have made their choice.
In my own opinion, I remain using it for posts I wish to use it for. At the moment, this is quite a key-start by the developers. But the team are not relenting as of course they are coming up with something good soon. All you do is to relax for a while.
I would also use like to communicate to the developers of this wonderful extension here in this post. I hope this gets to them. The extension would be better if it can also feature other frontends. Also, there are quite some issues I noticed on the extension. At the moment, I would only speak on my suggestion of the Steemconnect. I would say that it is a long process and it would be great if that could be out. This would make posting quicker instead of the Steemconnect long process. Thanks for the time, let’s forge ahead.
