Hi friends, Hope you all are fine shine today in my tutorial I'm going to teach you about Disk analyzer opensource software WinDirStat. WinDirStat is an open source graphical disk usage analyzer and clean up tool this is for Windows Operating system and if users are using Linux then are alternate software is available kDirStat and for Mac OS QDirStat so let's start our tutorial.
- In my case I'm using windows and need windows file extension software for windows I'm going to download WinDirStat goto https://windirstat.net/ and download software for windows from here.
- After Downloading install this setup
- Now tick on Ascii code and other means select all and that will occupy 2mb size
- Now select loaction where you want to store bydefult loaction is C Drive is set
- After Instalting process is completed now open WinDarstat.exe
- After click load all drive or select individual drive to see graphical representation of your memory and see which file consume memory less or high. after seleting drive now wait to completing process.
- Now read whole directory tree and then present in graphical view
Now here is graphical representation of whole sub directories now you and see which file will cover more memory and which file will select less memory
Here is Extension of file with box color
- Now here is square box is showing memory
- Now you can delete any file you want easy just right click on thath file and delete.
- Now click yes
- Or you can open any file just click on this button
