Sadly, I am unable to replicate the behaviors described here. Could you try to login with your last.fm details, then perform the described operations again. Cause it's clearly stated that some features becomes unavailable when you are logged out, I am suspecting your account is implemented to track your saved favorites.

On my side, the albums I deleted from the favorite list, stayed deleted even after I restarted the application.
