Introduction
Surespot is an open source messaging application developed for android and iOS and it is one of the few messaging applications that places more focus on privacy and security as it’s very secured communication uses the latest end to end encryption as a default. Every text, picture or audio sent via the application are very private and cannot be scrutinized by anyone.
It is an open source as the messenger puts every bit of its clients code for the world to review, evaluate and contribute to its use.
It is safe and secure as it doesn’t use a phone number or email to login, voice messages can be sent if you cannot type, you can have multiple users in one single device, and your identity is portable ie. transferred to other devices.
The Problem observed
When we are typing on surespot, it can get cumbersome as we cannot know or detect that the other party I am chatting with is typing or sending a reply just like other messaging applications like WhatsApp and Facebook. So it leads to confusion and clustering of messages.
Proposed Suggestion
So I suggest that this feature of showing that someone is typing should be included to prevent confusion.
Benefits
If this feature was to be added to the surespot, it will lead to less confusion when typing and replying chats. If I see the typing notification, I can wait a bit till I get the message before I send a reply.
Conclusion
This feature suggested will greatly improve chat experience on the surespot application.
