About the Project
help.utopian.io is a project for developing a website for Utopian.io's Help Center, based on the content being created on the Utopian Help Center content repository which has been under development for the last couple of months. This project aims to create a user-friendly website for all the content.
For now, the site is still quite basic, as I am creating its structure first before moving on to making graphics etc.
Technology Stack
I'm using HTML to build the site, with CSS styling and a little JavaScript.
Elements introduced
A header element
Four buttons linking to the four different sections of the site: FAQs, Quick Start Guides, Knowledge Base, Tutorials. They have a hover effect utilizing color change and shadow.
A footer section for future use
GitHub Commits
Roadmap
The index.html home page needs icons and other graphics, for which I'll create task requests for the community.
After this initial home page, I intend to create the subpages for all the sections in the Utopian Help Center, namely:
- FAQs
- Quick Start Guides
- Knowledge Base
- Tutorials
Each of these sections will have a dedicated page with unique styles to reflect the nature of the content displayed.
Here's a screenshot for the next section page I'm currently working on. It's for FAQs.
After successfully creating all section pages, I'll focus on the user experience and add graphics, and other improvements to make the site more user-friendly and better on the eyes.
