Linked Task Request
Introduction
My name is Ebixy Ebi Laffin and I have a page on Facebook where I promote open source applications. When Actifit was first released, I was among the early users of the application. But after a while, I fell out of love with the application. I was still following developments made by the creator, .
The application has made giant strides with the introduction of AFIT tokens and is currently doing an Actifit Initial Steem Offering. Only a few applications on the blockchain have been able to maintain such a tempo and reach such levels. Additional features are constantly been worked on to make the experience better. You can even synchronize it with external devices like FITBIT. Due to these recent developments, I started using the application again. I might not post my results every day, but it has helped me to keep track of my physical fitness
Targetting and Audience
For such an application, you have to promote it to people who are involved in physical activities. Activities supported on the application include Aerobics, Basketball, boxing, cricket, cycling, running, dancing etc.
The application currently supports a total of 31 activities. At a go, it won't make sense to target all activities. So in this promotion, I targetted 5 activities that most people are involved in namely running, walking, jogging, basketball, football who are also interested in weight loss and physical fitness.
Country: United States
Age: 13 - 45
Ad message and Call To Action
The Actifit website contains all the information one would need about the application. The aim of the ad was promoting the website via link clicks. With the belief that on getting the right information, people would be guided, That's, why there is a Learn More link on the ad

The image was automatically sourced by Facebook on inputting the website link. The image has a dimension of 160 x 160 and in JPEG format.
Bidding Strategy and Results
I choose the Cost Per Click (CPC) bidding strategy with the aim of having link clicks and website visits. This means that Facebook is to deliver the ad at the best possible rate.
I spent a total of $15 and it ran for a total of 5 days. The gender results are as follows; Women 31.80% and Men 68.20%.
| Activity | Result |
|---|---|
| Reach | 10,190 |
| Link clicks | 218 |
| Spend | $15 |
| CPC | $0.06 |
| CTR | 2.13% |
