Expected behavior

Akasha is expected to use a resonable amount of system memory. On average, it uses 500 to 900 megabytes of memory.

Actual behavior

Akasha's main processes using 2-3 gigabytes of memory. geth and ipfs combined used up 2.4 GB of memory.

How to reproduce

Start the latest version of Akasha.
Sync it with 1 GB geth cache.
Login to Akasha account.
Use the software for 4-5 hours.

Operating system: Windows 7
