Vanilla music player is an open source Android app. It is basically a simple music player. It is fast and comfortable blessed with lots of features. It is a music player with simple interface similar to the stock music player. Supports browsing by folder, queueing, shake to skip and more. Supports the same audio formats as the stock music player. It has several features. I was using this app for sometime and I found some features were unavailable . And they were sleep timer, set as ringtone and filter audio files.
Proposal
In this proposal I am suggesting the addition of these three features, sleep timer, set as ringtone and filter audio files. Let me explain these features:
- Sleep timer: This feature is nowadays available in every app, and it allows a user to set an interval or stopping of music when he wants. Hey user can easily set a time whether it is one hour , two hour after that music will automatically stop which makes it an important feature. I'll show you an example:
- Set as ringtone: This feature allows a user to set any song as ringtone anyone he wants. We can long click on any audio there appears option set as ringtone and we can easily set any song as ringtone in simple and easy way. So I think this is an important feature and it must be implemented. An example:
- Filter audio files : this feature contains three options by size , by length and by folder, it allows a user to hide small files by size or whether it is by length or by folder like hide files smaller than two MB, duration lesser than five minutes. It is nowadays a best thing.

Benefits
Sleep timer: The benefits by this feature will be the a user can easily set a time or interval to stop music, which is automatic. Sometimes user plays music when he is going to sleep, he sometimes forget to stop the music, there sleep timer plays a best role. He can simply turn sleep timer on and he don't have to worry it will automatically stop so this is an important feature and it will promptly bring the app to a better and high platform.
Set as ringtone: The benefits of this feature will be the user can select any song which he wants to set ringtone. It will be fast and impressive. This will make the app attractive.
Filter audio: The benefits of this feature will be the , if user doesn't want his recordings to be played in the music player, as most of the recordings are of low quality or short duration, there he can use filter audio files, this is a good thing to put
forward.
