Introduction

Swapsteem is a peer to peer exchange for Steem blockchain. We are creating a platform for Steem users to enable P2P trading of STEEM/SBD to different Fiat and Crypto Currencies using secure escrow transactions. This post is regarding the new Hive account@tokenbb based forum we have added at Swapsteem. This forum enables swapsteem users and the community to interact about swapsteem and get rewarded with upvotes from the community.

Why do we need a forum?
Swapsteem is a P2P marketplace which is different from traditional exchanges. It requires some familiarity with steem to be able to trade on swapsteem. Since a lot of users are not so comfortable with the technical details we get a lot of questions by the community in our discord and steemit blog. A forum is a centralized platform for keeping track of such queries so that others can also see the questions previously asked without having to chase people for answers.
What is Hive account@tokenbb?
As announced by Hive account@tokenbb in their post TokenBB Is Now Officially Powered by BuildTeam! and Hive account@reggaemuffin in New Project – TokenBB Frontend – A forum client for the Steem Blockchain

Tokenbb is a forum application built by Hive account@buildteam which enables steem users to create and manage community forums. The platform incentivizes both forum owners and users with steem upvotes. Tokenbb.io is currently in alpha phase and there might be some bugs as frequent enhancements are being done by them. Users can report bugs or features on their Github Repo Issues..
The Swapsteem Forum
As a part of the Hive account@tokenbb alpha testing program, we have created our forum at https://swapsteem.tokenbb.io where users can create topics to talk regarding swapsteem. The topic may be anything including queries about the platform, suggestions, bug reports and what not! These topics will be visible to others and can be curated and commented by other users to form a discussion. The topics and forum are managed by Hive account@swapsteem who has the authority to delete any comment/post on the forum.
How to use the Swapsteem Forum?
To use the Swapsteem Forum, users will have to click the "Forum" menu at our website or head over directly to https://swapsteem.tokenbb.io and sign in with their steem/email account or choose to stay Anonymous.
There a bunch of topics already created on the forum as you can see in the below screenshot.

Users can open any topic by clicking on them. This will open the topic on a new page with all the replies. Users can upvote or reply to any topic or comment.

How to create a new topic?
To create a new topic, click the New Topic button on the upper right corner as shown below.

You'll be shown an editor. You can give the thread titles and explain in detail using the editor. You will also need a category for the topic from the category drop down. Once you are done writing the topic, click submit.

The Topic will be added to the home page and will be visible to everyone as shown below.
How to comment on an existing topic?
To comment on an existing topic, click the topic link on the home page. You will be redirected to the topic page where you can see the original question and replies made by users.

To comment on the topic you can type your reply in the editor at the bottom of the page and click the Reply button.
How to upvote a topic/comment?
To upvote a topic or reply, you can click the upvote button and select the vote weight. Note you need to be logged in to upvote but you can create and read topics/replies anonymously.

Early Access

We are now offering early access to our alpha for a fixed onboarding fee which can be paid in STEEM.
We have three plans for early access

Noob ( 20 STEEM) - Trade amounts limited to 100 steem weekly
Pro ( 50 STEEM ) - Trade amounts limited to 300 steem weekly
Legend ( 100 STEEM ) - Trade amounts limited to 1000 steem weekly

To get the early Access, please visit our alpha at https://alpha-swapsteem.herokuapp.com and log in with your steem account. or fill this Google Form and send the fee applicable for your desired plan to Hive account@swapsteem account.

Call to Bug Hunters

You can test the Fiat and Crypto pairs on our Demo by creating a new listing or simply buying/selling from existing listings as shown in below screenshot. Please find the tutorials on the process in the links below. Bugs acknowledged by us will be rewarded by utopian and other supporters. We will also give early access to our alpha to 5 bug hunters for quality hunts.

Call for Delegation

Swapsteem is an open source project, recognized and supported by @utopian-io and @fundition. Please consider delegating to @swapsteem to help us with the Development and maintenance of the application. The delegation will be used to upvote the Development and other contributions towards @swapsteem.
The delegators will be eligible to get early access to our alpha which is already live where they can trade unlimited amounts on the alpha with discounts on trades up to the SP delegated weekly.
