Flym News Reader is an open source android application which is designed and developed for news reading.

Let's get started with the tutorial.
Go to the Google app store and search for Flym News Reader offered by Frédéric Julian.
Now click on it and proceed.
To install the application click on the Install button and the app will start downloading.
Click on the Open button and proceed.
The application will open and you will be asked if you would like to add one feed.
Let's select Google News Topics here.
You will be shown a list of topics. Select the ones you want get news from.
You can here also enter a custom topic.
Now click on the the tick button shown in above screenshot to apply.
You will see the entries you selected appear on the homepage.
Select All Entries and proceed.
Now click on the Refresh button to load the entries.
All the stories will be loaded.
Swipe right to add a news to favorites.
Swipe left to delete it.
If you want to search for a news just click on the Search button at the top right corner of the screen.
Now enter the text of the news (as shown above by entering Alex Smith) to load that particular news.
Click on it to open.
To share the news click on the Share icon shown in above screenshot.
Click on the three dots at the top right corner of your screen to *copy link and/or unread *
Click the four arrow icon shown in above screenshot to hide the top bar.
Here you can retrieve the full text by clicking on the retrieve full text button or you see the news in a browser by clicking on the see in browser button.
Click on the double tick button to mark the news as read.
To get access to more options click on the options button shown in above screenshot.
Here you can click on the pencil icon to get access to feeds.
Click on the button shown above to import and/or export from OMPL.
Tap and hold a feed to edit or delete it.
If you want to add a custom feed or search for one click on the plus icon.
Click on the add a custom feed or search for one button.
Now enter the link you wish and click on the tick icon to save.
For settings click on the settings icon.
In settings you can toggle many things like
- Enable automatic refresh
- Refresh interval
- Change themes, etc
- You can select a time for which entries will be kept
+You can also change the text size in settings by clicking on the Text size button.
Moreover you can search in feeds by entering a text from the feeds. As shown in the above screenshot you get the feeds which include these texts.
