At SteemFest2 I had a chance to ask @Ned and Hive account@justinw about an idea to integrate SMT's into a charity focused platform where users (Donators) receive Tokens in return for their donations. I was glad that they thought it could work!

Since last week I am working on the landing page layout and created a github repository today to track the progress . I invite everyone interested to participate in this project (via utopian.io) to make the site a success and blueprint for other charity sites run on the STEEM blockchain.

Next Steps.

• I hope to have the landing page completed by mid next week and uploaded to Amazon Web Services. The domain Dochato.com is already registered.

• For the backend I need support since this is not really my area. I like to have the site use SteemConnectv2 for wallet, posting and commenting integration.

• Further brainstorm sessions are needed to completely layout how the SMT will be setup and distributed. I am open for any suggestions and advice on this to make it a success.

• I am working on a more detailed mission statement that will be posted in one of my next updated.

Contribution Funding

• My current plan is set a certain amount of "DCT Tokens" aside and share with the people who help me to implement this project. I am not entirely sure if a "Reward Pool" can be created as part of the SMT creation process, I like to read your feedback on that as well.
