“The SteemPort project brings Steem Apps to Android & Android TV”

Installing SteemPort apps is self explaining on newer devices, but for older devices and for Android TV the installation process is a bit different and therefore it is useful to have a "How to install SteemPort apps" guide on Github.

Beside the installation instructions, the project files of the apps are now added to the SteemPort Github page and can be opened with MIT App inventor

Projects

At the moment the SteemPi TV-Box project for single board computers receives most of my time, but i also want to have more updates for the SteemPort Android Apps project. Beside SteemPort and SteemPi there is one new project in the making, now for some time and hopefully it is possible to bring good news about this unreleased project within a short time.

The SteemPi Live USB version is something that is worked on by me and Hive account@dehenne, some more progress is recently made but there are still some issues to overcome, but it is looking more and more positive. and it is becoming possible to have this version available soon.

SteemPort apps are simple Android Applications that port Steem tools to Apps for Android, the SteemPort project can grow, and more steem tools are made and released almost weekly and some of them fit the SteemPort concept and can be ported into a SteemPort App.

It would be nice to have a bit of help with this project to see where it can go with your help. Development of SteemPort apps ideally maybe should be done in Android Studio or Eclipse. (brings other benefits) And the current solution with MIT App Inventor is not perfect but keeps the workflow short and simple, a possible new upcoming benefit is that MIT is crowdfunding for making there Mobile app development platform also IOS compatible. What could than make it easy to make SteemPort apps available for Apple devices as well.
