Promoting Steemit On Facebook To the Ghanaian Population

Introduction

I have been a steemit advocate for quite a number of months and i have been promoting steemit both online and offline. My most recent activities have been offline and as such i decided to use a different line of approach using facebook as a medium of exposure. The task to create awareness about steemit dawned on me when i realised the true potential of the blockchain and what it interns to achieve and seeing the inadequate publicity in my locality, i decided to take this huge mantle upon my self to tell people about it. It is my hopes that steemit hits mainstream due to the little efforts i am giving and that of all who are interested in promoting steemit. I am currently running a 1 week ad campaign to attract people to facebook through my facebook promotional page called promo-ghana.

Audience

My targeted audience are men and women between the ages 18 - 65+ who live in Ghana and are interested in Interests: Blog, community, Social media, Family and relationships, Cryptocurrency, Facebook, Writing or Video blog. Its my hope that through this action, steemit will hit mainstream in Ghana .

Leading to the 2016 general elections in Ghana, we saw numerous professions picketing on the streets of Accra for jobs.
For the first time, we had something like Ghana Association of Unemployed Graduates. Many governments have tried to solve the problem of unemployment but have failed because they simply cannot create enough jobs.
In recent times we the youth have been encouraged to think entrepreneurship and build businesses for ourselves but how do you build a business without capital?

Results

The campaign has been running for two days with a 1500+ reach and a post engagement of 300+ people. It has so far been successfully and i will continue to run the campaign if things continue to be the same.
