mpv-android is a video player for Android based on libmpv. It has spacious number of features like
Hardware and software video decoding
Gesture-based seeking and volume/brightness control.
libass support for styled subtitles.
Play network streams with the "Open URL" function.
Proposal
As I have mentioned in my previous suggestion on this App that In this app here users can play any type of videos as it supports a lot of formats.
I have been using this app for weak it has ample number of features. But unfortunately it lacks some important features. I have already proposed some features to mpv-android in my previous suggestion for it.
- In this contribution I'm proposing to add two more features in it, these are:
1: TIMER
2: PLAYBACK SPEED
These two features are enabled in most of the leading video players like Mx player, Xplayer etc These two features have large importance.
Below screenshot shows the present status of the app, as you see clearly these two features are not available.

Benefits
- The benefits of having feature Timer is that if a user have to watch a video to some point he can set a timer. When video reaches to that point it stops automatically. You can timer according to your choice. Since shorter videos are more watched than longer videos. You don't need to edit as much if you have a timer feature.
- The benefits of having feature Playback Speed is that You can speed up the video or slow down it down according to your desire.
I hope these features will be implemented soon.
