Contribution specifications
- Translation overview: In my first contribution to the iFixit project I came across introduction to the project. Lots of threads were related to payments, shipment procedure, information and policies related to orders, but also communication from iFixit Return Robot.
As a person concerned with consumerism and the strategy used by most companies nowadays - to make product usable for only the time covered by warranty - I am really excited with projects like this. It allows people to look for tips on how to repair their own devices and at the same time escaping the trap of constantly buying new things. Instead it allows to prolong their usage or perhaps at some point maybe also recycling them in usable way. As Nature's lover I am very happy to see the growth of this kind of initiatives that aim to decrease the amount of garbage we produce and at the same time lower the environmental impact, but also to increase connections between people through helping one another.
- Word Count: It is my first contribution to this project and I have translated 1014 words.
