In Steemit, the amount we earned from our posted blogs are called rewards. The rewards are automatically set or default to 50%/50%. Which means, you will be receiving your rewards in 50 percent Steem Power and 50 percent Steem Dollar. I think it was set that way so that the rewards will not be all liquid or easy to be withdrawn from the site and also to increase the Steem Power of an author. Increasing Steem Power will also means increasing influence to the community.
When you view your Author Rewards HIstory page, you can see and observe that you are receiving both Steem Power (SP) and SBD (Steem Dollar) rewards. Even it is set on 50 percent/50 percent rewards option, you can observe that the rewards were not divided equally. It is because the rewards depend on the current value of SBD and Steem. The value of both the Steem and Steem dollars were changing.

You can view your Author Rewards History by clicking the Rewards tab and the click the Author rewards in the drop down menu as shown in the photo below.
In order to view the rewards settings, click the Post tab at the top right portion of your Steemit's home page.
In the Submit/Post page, you can view the rewards options/settings located at the lower right part of the page, just below the tags. The default is 50%/50%.
There is no dropdown icon or slider on the rewards section that is why some might got confused on how to change it or if there are options aside from the default setting. Simply right click the rewards setting and you can see the other options such as the Power Up 100% and the Decline Payout.
Choosing the Power Up 100%, means that all your author rewards will be in Steem Power. If you wish to receive purely Steem Power whether to increase the value of your votes faster or simply wanting it to be all in Steem form, this is a good option to choose for you. Steem Power as described in Steemit page is : "Influence tokens which give you more control over post payouts and allow you to earn on curation rewards."
If you choose the Decline Payout rewards option, it means that you will not be receiving any rewards from your post. You will see the rewards with a horizontal line or sign of being cancelled to show that it was a Decline Payout such as shown in the screen shot below. There could be several reasons why an author would want to cancel or decline a payout for his post. It will be the choice of the author whether to receive the rewards or not for his/her posted blogs on Steemit.
I hope that my contribution will be helpful for the community.
