Introduction
This is my first visibility effort for any open source project. I decided to start with Utopian-io because i appreciate the initiatives for open source (free for all), and more so, because i have benefited from the platform with some little contribution i have made.
Many Nigerians don't know about Utopian platform, most especially the people of Anambra State of Nigeria. So i took up a social campaign on Facebook to spread the word about Utopian platform.
Audience
The campaign was targeted at people within the Age of 15 - 65+, living in Anambra State.
Activity
I created a Facebook page for this campaign, and I made a Facebook Post for this visibility and promoted it on facebook.
I specifically targeted my audience effectively and efficiently to cover the people of Anambra State of Nigeria.
The State had an impressive 250,000 potential audience. In my social campaign, i had to increase my budget a little in order to have a potential reach of 19,000 - 49,000 people.
In the facebook post i made, I included a sign up button, which will lead the potential audience straight to Utopian website:
Results
The budgeted cost for this campaign was #6,110, but #3,072 was actually spent for it.
I was able to reach 2,839 people, with 771 engagements.
