I remember how cool it felt to do some open-source work & know that Hive account@utopian-io would be there to back you up with a hefty upvote.

I remember how nice it was to read the comments & reviews from the team scoring your submission.

I remember how Hive account@utopian-io was a perfect onboarding system to introduce Steem to newbies.

Welp, I guess those are just memories now...

Apparently I missed the fucking memo back in July, but Hive account@utopian-io is dead. Gone. Of course, their blog post framed as a rebranding. A rebranding that would only take a few weeks. Maybe a month? How about 2 for good measure?

3 months later and not a peep from Hive account@utopian-io nor Hive account@elear. Looks like the new direction has stalled.

I want to make it very clear: I am not angry with, nor intending to harass neither utopian nor elear nor anyone else from the utopian team with this post.

Honestly, this is just my way to cope with losing such a great fucking project. I'm legitimately upset that utopian is no longer around... I don't like that I have nostalgic vibes from it now. I want present vibes, not fading memories.

Best thing I can do? End this on a positive note.
