Day 4 in Florida
After breakfast,
Following some brief yoga action, we were off to the beach. We loaded our wagon up and began our short little journey towards the sand and salt water.
It was a bit windier than the previous few days, but that did not cause the temperature to drop much. The sunlight was still just as powerful as ever. So much so that we both began to feel a bit sunburnt after a few hours. Luckily it wasn’t anything too terrible, but the both of us are still sort of experiencing some slightly burnt and tingly skin on Wednesday morning.
Tuesday we came back to our Airbnb from the beach about an hour earlier than on Sunday and Monday. After we cleaned up and got dressed, we did a little photo thing in our backyard. There are all sorts of different places here for us to pose for one another.
Our Airbnb has some really awesome trees growing down below, plenty of plant life, a swing, and even another deck with more chairs/canopy/grill/fire pit.
Our next destination was Anastasia Island. This trip took us about 20 minutes to get there and is home to the actual St Augustine Beach. Shortly after arriving, I saw my first Porsche Taycan out on the wild. The Taycan is Porsche’s new all-electric sedan, it was looking rather dazzling with the blue and black paint job.
We went to Anastasia specifically to eat at Tropical Smoothie Cafe, where we had some tasty fruit smoothies and a light lunch.
There was plenty of plants to do more photos with in the plaza where Tropical Smoothie Cafe was and even an impressive row of palm trees that reminded me of Los Angeles.
After our short lunch, we continued down the main stretch of beach towards Fiesta Falls mini golf.
The course was pretty challenging. All of the holes were listed as par 2 on the score card, so we should have been able to get all of them in just two shots. However most took more than that, but I did manage to get a couple of hole-in-ones.
It was honestly a pretty gorgeous mini golf course. As you can see, we had plenty of beautiful spots to capture more photos. We sometimes relied on my Pivo Pod as our third photographer.

We ended the night by watching a scary movie titled The Strange House and a few episodes of tv series called Haunted on Netflix.

So far every single day of our vacation has been fantastic. We have been having so much fun in Florida that I booked us another trip in July. I’ll be sure to reveal more about that once we are back home in WV next week. We still have the second half of this vacation to experience, so don’t want to get too far ahead of myself. Speaking of that, time to get ready to spend our Wednesday at the beach. Talk soon, I’ve got to go have some more fun now.
