Hello,
My son was diagnosed with autism when he was four. He suffered a severe reaction to a vaccination when he was only a few months old. At this point most people shake their heads and tell me that the vaccine was not to blame, that some other environmental factor was the cause. However, reflecting on that day, remembering his cries as the nurse approached with the needle (something he was too young to recognize or understand, but had the instinct to try to avoid), the blank stare that replaced his smiling face, the pediatrician that assured us that because his breathing was fine, and because he was still able to sit up on his own, the reaction that he had was normal, and that he would be OK.
Gradually the spark in his eyes returned, along with his smile, but his speech development and motor skills suffered. According to his OT, he has nervous system damage, something that his mother and I have been struggling to deal with. Certain sounds such as power tools (especially drills), will set him off. Screams of terror, and anxiety, mixed with severe muscle contractions are just a few of the challenges that we have to overcome.
My mission is to find answers. The correlation between vaccination and autism, methods that can be used to correct the damage to the body's systems, and the appropriate steps that can be taken to ensure that this nightmare does not continue into future generations.
