Italian President Sergio Mattarella has signed a to have children vaccinated for school admission, at 07 June 2017.
That means for admission at school will be obligatory to do 12 vaccinations for children aged between 0 and 6.
130 families from the northern Italian province of South Tyrol have said they will seek asylum in Austria, because of the signing of this law.
Under the compulsory vaccination law, these parents are faced with fines between 500 and 7500 euros when they refuse to vaccinate their children
