As I rewatched Pirotecnia del Mediterráneo's Mascletà on March 12th during the Fallas 2023 editing process, I couldn't help but get goosebumps. I'm not entirely sure what it was about this particular fireworks display that stirred up so much emotion within me. Perhaps it was the immense gunpowder cloud or the weight of each explosion, or maybe it was the electric energy of the crowd during the finale.
Regardless of what it was, Pirotecnia del Mediterráneo has outdone themselves once again. The Mascletà they put on for Fallas 2023 is still fresh in my memory and is easily one of the most impressive displays of that year.
