Got a knock on the door this morning at 5:00 AM. I heard a woman's voice, didn't sound like a cop which was good. When I got out, I found out it was a hotel worker. We talked for a minute. I told her I was traveling and that I was from NY. She asked if I was a registered guest and when I said no she told me I couldn't be there. But she said I seemed cool and let me finish out the night. Nice lady.
Unfortunatley, that hotel parking lot has been my main spot and I really liked it. It was secluded and quiet. I've stayed there most nights over the last 3 months. Not sure why I was discovered now. Could have just been random chance or maybe they had noticed a pattern. The moon was also pretty bright, so maybe I was easier to spot, who knows. I'm thankful the spot lasted as long as it did. I'll be moving on to my backup spot which I've stayed at a handful of times. Hopefully I won't run into any problems there.
