Hello Steemians,
Health, happiness and freedom to you all! Today's (two days ago) stream was a fantastic discussion with you all and my amazing niece Maisy! She came back on mostly because she loves talking and because the reality of going vegan has hit home. She had a bunch of questions about how to stay true to her values so we jumped right in!
So there it is, I did my best to share some wisdom with her and with you lot in the chat. First we have to acknowledge that this journey has a lot of challenges, especially for one so young and not in control of her meal planning. It will take a lot of love, support and innerstanding from her parents and grandparents to help her through and remind her of the reasons why she chose this path. This is the most important aspect in my opinion, she needs her family's help and support once I'm gone.
As well as the practical advice we talked about in the stream. I'd suggest watching some documentaries about the health benefits and wider environmental effects of veganism. There's tons to watch for on Youtube and many of the main ones are even on Netflix. Watching them as a family and talking together honestly and openly will really help. If it doesn't sink in for you then at least you might get why she and other vegans feel connected to making the change.
Here's just a few to get started with;

Any Vegans reading this article, please comment your favorite videos that helped you in your transition. We aren't looking for slaughter house shock-em stuff. We all know in our hearts that's not what anyone wants to see. Just asking for some positive and education stuff that had an impact on you.
Thanks to all who came to watch the show. See you in the next one and STEEM ON!!
Wholeness.
