I was in Las Vegas the weekend of the shootings, staying at the Bellagio. I was playing poker at the Bellagio on Sunday night when a relative sent me a text at 11:21 p.m. saying there was an active shooter at the Mandalay Bay. About 5 minutes later, absolute pandemonium broke out at the Bellagio as hundreds of people rushed towards the exit near the Sports Book. People were screaming there was an active shooter in the Bellagio. I ran out of the hotel, and could hear police cars with their sirens driving through the streets. They didn't let people back into the hotel for another 20-30 minutes. Because I was a guest, they let me go up to my room, but the rest of the hotel was on lockdown until about 4:30 am. People who were in the hotel were not allowed to leave until the police felt the city was secure.
