Before I sold my RX7 (well technically swapped it for a GTTL Soarer) I really wanted to see how it would go around some kind of track.
The closest track? The back of the father in law's farm. He carved out a fun mini track with enough curves to ensure that you'd never have to go past 2nd gear and therefore not fast enough to wrap yourself around the nearest tree.
So how did the rotor go? Hilariously bad. The RWD struggled to find any grip in the dust and dirt which meant plenty of fun sideways action trying to get it just pointing in a straight line let alone any traction and so it was 3 seconds slower than the farm Datsun the track was built for.
(That's my brother in law with the timer)
The worst part?
Cleaning it. Dirt and dust got into EVERYTHING.
Great fun though.
