Now I am no porsche expert (understatement of the year that one.) My entire porsche knowledge is limited to:
-I know what a 911 looks like
-A boxter once crashed outside my house
-Need for Speed: Porsche unleashed (which was an awful game unless you got excited by Porsches.)
Which means aside from seeing the badge and exclaiming 'Oooh, a classic porsche', that's about as far as I got in the game of 'name that porsche' in the local auction yard.
Thankfully the badge on the back says 1600 Super which means it's obviously not a 911 or a Boxter :P (Going well so far!)
Internet detectivery tells me it's a 1960-1963 Porsche 356B. Which ultimately means bugger all to me but it looks nice!
Do we have any Porsche experts on board? Anyone know how rare this thing is and how many average Australian house prices it might take to take it home? (Not that I'm planning on buying it, I'd mistakenly tell people I just bought a 911 Boxter knowing me if I did....more for curiosities sake.)
