When I was in Northern Thailand last year, the sugar cane trucks went roaring by often, but normally it was during the night. They do not run as much during the day so they have less regular traffic to deal with. These heavily loaded and speeding trucks could crush most everything else on the road.
This truck looks to be moving fast, but actually it is not. It was broken down in front of the resort I was staying at, and sat there being fixed for several hours. I took this shot as it slowly moved and then stopped again for more repairs. I don’t think my little point and shoot could have gotten this at all if it was going at normal speed.
