Despite the fact that during the may holidays managed to visit many interesting places, to my surprise, most impressed by the exhibition of military equipment, which can be viewed near the hall of military glory in Krasnodar.
The Park, which houses the Museum of military equipment, is huge and well maintained. Now it is completely green and blooming. In everyday life people can be a little rare group school trips, but sometimes a weekend here and not overcrowded, come with their families. Over 7 years of existence of the exhibition was a unique collection of vehicles and equipment of the last century.
Some of the exhibits were found by search teams in the Kuban. Excavations in the battlefields are still under way, and the collection is replenished every year. You seem to come into contact with the past era, and better aware of the nightmare of war...
More than 40 units of military equipment are exhibited in the open air: these are the machines of the Second world war, there were also those that were produced before the beginning of those events. Back in 1938, a self-propelled unit was developed for artillery battles.
This is already an upgraded version, which of course looks somewhat different.
Here we could see tanks, guns, and famous anti-aircraft guns, mortars on the chassis of trucks ZIS-151, which people affectionately called "Katyusha".
The crew consisted of 6 people, and the range reaches 7-8 km Katyusha rockets had 16 rounds, and each weight was over 40 kg. Imagine how difficult it was to soldiers. In the rear, too, worked day and night,, only from July to December 1944, produced about 10 thousand such installations.
The whole Park is just dotted with flower lawns, planted with beautiful trees, and fragrant rose bushes give an even more pleasant atmosphere.
And this is a more modern model, tractor, missile complex 9K-79 "Point", which is used in service since 1975. As part of the rearmament, it was transferred to the Museum by the military unit.
Such anti-aircraft guns (automatic anti - aircraft guns) were controlled by 5 people, and the rate of fire was 89 shots per minute.
The kids are all they have studied, been everywhere, "the wheel" twisted, it's not really even a shot of curious crows.
At the same time, they screamed, shouted, and sometimes fought for a place at the helm, which I thought, really have to defend :-)
Thank you for Your attention and Your visit. I appreciate Your feedback and comments.
I wish you luck and have a nice day!
Best wishes,
