This was taken in 2012 in Borschemich - Germany, an abandoned town that had been emptied due to the expansion of nearby coal mine, Garzweiler.
In these series of photographs- I wind the film randomly to allow for images to overlap each other. The idea was, to emphasis the feeling of deconstruction, the town was facing.
Majority of the buildings were demolished in 2017.
