Hello world! It’s me Shiningstar, I’m back :-)
Today I wanted to tell you about my trip to Caorle (Italy), a beautiful city close to the well known Venice.
I left home in the early morning with my sister Lisa and took a train from Milan to Venice, we arrived at destination in three and a half hours.
We stayed in a beautiful residence called Villaggio San Francesco. Caorle’s center was 9km away.

Once arrived we unpacked our luggage and went straight for dinner at restaurant close to our place near the beach. We ordered grilled seafood and local white wine, everything was delicious and the plus was the extraordinary view of the sea!
The next day we planned to spend our day at the water park in Caorle, this was a great opportunity to relax, get a tan, enjoy the swimming pool and the water slides. I couldn't ask for more!
The third day was dedicated to a cultural trip to the Madonna’s Angel’s Sanctuary (Santuario dell Madonna dell’Angelo), a fascinating church facing the sea, constructed in the 10th century. The rest of the day was spent at the beach close to the site.
The forth day we visited the centre of Caorle, I was amazed to see how the city has kept its historical vibe, with narrow roads, old houses and buildings painted with vivid colours. Typical shops and local stored takes you back to its medieval atmosphere. People from Caorle are welcoming and friendly but most of all they are extremely proud of the history of their city.
The last day I was quite sad to leave Caorle, me and my sister where wishing for a longer stay. On the train taking us back to Milan I knew that it wasn’t a farewell but a “see you soon Caorle”.
