Hello World!
I am John The Savage and I am a Marine Corps / Iraq War Veteran with severe PTSD and severe depression. I have decided to start a new chapter in my life to better my mental health and get in touch with my spirituality to bring me peace and fulfilment in life. I have decided at this point that I want to give up all of my material possessions and live a life on the road, traveling the country and possibly the world with my American Pitbull Terrier Blu. This is a journey I feel I must embark on for both spiritual and mental health reasons. Neither people nor material possessions have brought me any real happiness or understanding of who I am, what I am, and where it is I am to be at the undetermined end of my lifetime. Today I sit here typing this out in a basement living with a roommate. I have stuff here, and stuff stored at my mother's house that I need to start selling. In order for this to work out for me, I need to be debt free and separated from all of my belongings, while being disciplined enough not to buy anything new. I hope you join Blu and I in our adventure.
