iPad 5th Generation

I'm back to making review videos! The last one was almost 2 months ago. I kicking it off with something I already own - the iPad 5th Generation. It's the Wifi + Cellular version, which means it takes a sim card so it can work anywhere a phone can work without depending on external connections/tethering to access the Internet.

This device was pretty well made so there are many of them still in circulation today. This one seems just as snappy as when it was new so I don't see the need to replace it. It can't run the latest apps since the operating system has changed dramatically. Being almost 10 years old, it doesn't have the modern chips that the latest "iPad OS" was designed for. It's also only a matter of time before Apple divorces it from the ecosystem and stops supporting it with updates. When such a time comes, I'd probably look into jailbreaking it.
