Generally, all countries sooner or later go through three main demographic stages:
I. Demographic Transition. The most of the population is poor, healthcare is terrible and from 4-6 children in an average family only 2 reach the adult age.
II. Explosive Growth. There are still 4-6 children in an average family, but due to the industrial revolution in the society the middle-class grows and healthcare improves. So the most children survives and the population increases drastically.
III. Slowdown and stable population. The role of women in society increases, education improves and there are 1-2 children in families.
