I think music is going to play a massive part post SHTF, it has the power to motivate, move us and make even the bleakest of situations more bearable. It also crosses cultural and age barriers.
This was a video I did using the Gramophone I had. Unfortunately I had to sell it. I always wanted one since I was young and I finally got one, only to have to let it go again. I'll get another one for sure at some point in the future.
If you are going to prep then consider your music library and have at least some music with you and/or the ability to play music or have instruments stashed somewhere so that even if you can't play them yourselves someone else who can will be able to, because it really will be something that will be in demand. There's a reason mankind has been making music since before our race could even speak.
