It is estimated that approximately 150 million children around the world live with a disability and that 80% of them are in developing countries. In most cases, these children do not receive the treatment they need and many are discriminated against.
According to the International Labor Organization (ILO), about 1 billion people in the world have a disability, of which at least 785 million are of working age. However, although many have managed to get a job, these people still experience common forms of discrimination, such as a high level of unemployment, prejudice in terms of productivity or even exclusion from the labor market.
