I've been a little lazy (didn't write too much code). I tested the graphics and some attack moves. I'm thinking about having an uppercut that allows you to do air combos like Tekken. I haven't made the combo yet, but here's the initiative.
I would need to add particle effects, camera shakes, and maybe more hangtime. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of overdramatizing things, but I'll add certain things to make you feel the impact.
One thing I didn't talk about in the video is steem integration. Someone asked whether I'd have something for steem. I'm not sure yet if I'm gonna have it, but if I do, it'll come at the very end. I don't think there's much support for c# for steem, so it could be something small like sharing your gameplay and being rewarded for it.
What's important is that I'm already sharing all my progress on steem and being paid. It's not a lot, but most indie developers don't get paid at all, so steem is a nice platform for us to share and monetize while still in progress.
I wish we had a bigger community of gamedevs on steem (at one point when steem was $6~8 we kinda did). Markets change all the time, so I'm sure they'll be back eventually. I'll continue to update and polish and see what happens.
Lastly, a special thanks to those who gave me suggestions and ideas last time. Those comments help a lot when I'm trying to decide the overall direction, so others, don't be afraid to speak up 😃
