During our visit to our coastal friend we couldn't resist going out and attempting to capture some footage of the sunrise!

It definitely wasn't the best day for it. It was a bit cold, rainy, and there were extreme winds.

However, with hectic winds comes the opportunity to test the hovering capability of the Phantom 3 and she handled it like a champion! Her battery? Not so much.

It dropped from fully charged to almost nothing in a matter of 13 minutes! Fighting winds gusting between 40-60km an hour while trying to stay perfectly positioned in one spot tends to take a toll.

But all things considered, the video came out far more stable than expected!

Sadly, we didn't catch the entirety of the sunrise because of the huge battery drain... also, it became evident that it was so hazy and dismal that we weren't going to get a clear shot of the sun, anyway! But it is still a beautiful view!

Especially when the train is rolling through!
