Up to this point in our travels, we have been fortunate enough to do laundry at all our Airbnb rentals. That was no longer the case when we arrived in Puerto Vallarta. We finally had to figure out how to navigate a "lavandería." It was a pretty new experience for both of us after always doing our own laundry in the United States.
Before leaving Puerto Vallarta and heading to San Blas, we had a week's worth of laundry to do. If we didn't do it there, we'd need to figure it out in our next destination (one we were even less familiar with).
If you're wondering how people go about doing laundry in Mexico...
It's not at all like what we were expecting. We thought it'd be like going to a laundromat in the US with multiple pay-per-use machines. We'd pay a nominal fee to use the machines, have to wait around for them to finish, then spend time folding all of our own clothes before carrying them home.
It's not like that at all. It's so much better!
In this video we take our clothes to a lavandería, Jordan realizes he can't spell, and Maddie attempts a technique from Mexican vendors.
We use this action cam to shoot our videos.
Until next time,
