Fun fact of the day: Someone, somewhere, sometime convinced the English-speaking world to call our favorite fresh salsa "rooster's beak" and we went along with it. Yep, "pico de gallo," the Mexican flag colored salsa. Rooster's beak! No one in Mexico calls it that, we've been made a fool! A fool! Lol
Now that that's out of the way, let's get to why you're really here.
Today we decided to share some insights on just exactly why we've uttered some variation of the phrase, "Yeah, I'm never coming back to the US" so many times in the past few weeks.
What is it about Mexico that's so superior to our home country?
It's not the cost of living, although that's certainly nice. No, it's something else... something.... something that's actually pretty hard to put into words. Still, we gave it a shot to hopefully communicate the magic that exists within Mexico and why we really don't want to go back to our lives in the United States of America.
