As a big fan of the books, I really can't say I am thrilled about the direction of the new movie. They go in a very different direction of the books and feel a lot different than the story I love. If you haven't read the books, I recommend holding off on the movie and waiting until you have if you have any interest. It is Stephen King's best work and is very different than his normal style of writing.
I'll eventually watch it. I love Mathew McConaughey and Idris Elba so I had high hopes for the movie until I saw the trailer. I haven't seen the movie yet, but the reviews seem to reflect my feelings.
