My wife was having a murder mystery party for her birthday and I was trying to figure out how I'd both participate and take pictures and video. I really didn't want to carry around my giant DSLR, so I picked up a Gear 360 after reading an article that they're great for party video.
Took a couple of test videos and edited them to get a feel for positioning, best practices, and how well the camera works.
Hopefully I can figure out a good setting for WB and contrast as one of my biggest issues is how poorly it handles even dim lighting. Either that or find something that lets me mess with it in post-production.
I tried Action Director and hated it; putting the videos together was nice, but the pure lack of features killed it for me, especially not being able to change the initial direction. Also wasn't a fan of Insta360 editor even though it had some cool features. Wound up using VIRBEdit for the last two and it works well enough and handles everything pretty well. I might just have to get Adobe Premiere and give it a try next time.
Without further ado; The videos(Note: Must be watched in Chrome on desktop or Youtube App on mobile for 360 affect to work. Mouse/Finger/WASD/tilting will move the perspective. Set quality to 4k for best experience.):
