Finally found the right material - a form of Acetyl Acetate!
1. The Exhibition Update.

In my previous post you can see that I trialled different materials in an attempt to find the one the most transparent but yet reflective enough to show the image projected onto it. I know it was fucking useless and seemed pointless except the state of art in the UK is at, at the moment it is more about the written work than the bloody piece of work itself (vote if u cri everytim)
SO I now then switched up and had a good old bloody rummage through the departments store cupboards and chanced upon the absolute best material I could possibly find, without having to fork out a calculated £250 plus for perspex/plexiglass/or old peoples clear shower doors (which it almost came down to doing, I know how sad my life is sounding right about now) but I am so grateful I found it as it is absolutely perfect for the cause and if double layered gives just the right amount of spooky reflection, whilst retaining that ethereal transparent effect I WANTED.
There is some more experimentation to come in the following few days except I havent been payed and wanted to wait for the payout from the last post so I could promote this post as a Three-in-one kill them all style; An introduceyourself, an exhibition update and also as a base to explain just exactly what the hell is going on because I promise you this is not just a projector based art piece with some fancy bloody lights.
SO anyway that was a little update, now on to point of action #2
2. The Introduce Yourself.

My names Harold, I am 19 in 30 days and I used to make videos about fashion and topics like that over on youtube, however I really struggled with exposure and when a niche has been taken on the platform its like trying to get a slightly white grain of salt in a shaker to be noticed and if you think spam on here is bad....which it is....but on youtube with the fashion thing its another world. And then I discovered cryptocurrencies in September 2018 for the third time in my life and fell in love all over againI had previously tried to run a BitMinter node back in 2013 at the tender age of 14 but could never get it to sync so gave up. (FOMO CREW ANYONE) I mucked about with Neo, Stellar some good projects with a solid blockchain, and then stumbled on Steem Anyway I SO I stopped for a while and then had a Bi-Maxillary Osteotomy for an underbite in December for which the timeline of which can be found here -
Its quite a serious operation that meant I was off sick from work and college for almost 2 Months, but the whole time spent researching Steemit and the fact that only high quality content that was of great value to the blockchain would be upvoted/shared etc and formulated my entry into this community. Finally made an account on JANUARY OF THIS YEAR and have just been sort of sorting myself out ever since, lost some money on bad posts got my first flag which was a scary situation and went back to the drawing board and you can see how the quality of my content has taken leaps and bounds since those first drugged up posts I made back in Jan.
After 3 Months I now have rep of almost 52, almost 300 followers and I am ready to reveal to the world my ambitions of the current project I am working on, and establish myself on this platform because once I first saw it I fell in love - A viable alternative to the limited options of Social Media that we have at our disposal in this day and age.
3. What the hell is this project you continuously mention?
Now this ladies and gentlemen is the pièce de résistance, a first-of-its-kind attempt and challenge but if it pulls off then it could be seriously beneficial, not just for this platform but for the art world in general. Now I am currently working on a video/sonic art based project at an Art Pre-Degree Foundation course in the UK, which has a two week exhibition date set around the end of April to mid May time. it will take you to the original post which contains my statement of intent, the initial ideas being based around quantum mechanics and the decentralised nature of reality. (a sort of artist project whitepaper, first one to coin it, I called it bruh) , but I will directly quote it here for ease of quotability:
"Strange everyday phenomena and experiences like Déjà Vü, “prophetic” dreams all the way to 3 year old boys remembering specific details about his death in a past life; occur all around us that may be finally explained by the mysterious rules of quantum mechanics, something I will attempt to research and demonstrate throughout the project. In classical mechanics, objects exist in a specific place at a specific time. However, in quantum mechanics, objects instead exist in a haze of probability; they have a certain chance of being at point A, another chance of being at point B and so on, and demonstrates that matter can behave as a solid (particle) and a probability (wave).
Life on earth gets busier and busier with every single day, resulting in many people not being able to take a second and pause and think about the true magnitude of what occurs all around us the breath taking beauty of universe and its many estranged roots into all of our lives. This problem is what I will attempt to tackle in this project, to give a visual and auditory (perhaps even tactile) experience or representation of the processes which we cannot see or touch; let alone have to time to think about. Whilst I would hope to use a variety of different forms to explore this topic; I will be using the most to explore in the form of video and sound. As you can probably tell it will be a beautiful hit, with an almost 4D Cinema esque vibe to it, and yes it will be Steem Exclusive but this isn't the best part. This is perhaps the most important thing to take away from the entire article if you've made it this far ;).

The entire two week exhibition piece will be live streamed on DLive, so that the entire world can see, view and experience the visuals fitting with the "Decentralised" theme of the project too. The whole exhibition piece will be the first of its kind on Steemit (please correct me if wrong) but it will be in its entirely accessible by the entire world with a optimistic continuous live stream time of 14 times 24 = 336 hours, all reactions, visitors and all that jazz will be viewable the entire world over.

Now this exhibition contains almost 40 other artists brilliant work that I have had the pleasure of working with and is a very popular collection that people will travel long distances to attend too, as the Foundation Course is one of the best and most well run in the entire of the UK, with many influencers and other artists visiting and attending.
This is one of the best chances for not just a DLive Promotion, but the entire STEEM blockchain to normal everyday people (the 200+ people that will be visiting) but also the "influencers" the up and coming artists that I've been working with that might one day be as big as the artistical talents we currently have; THEY MAY CHOOSE TO PUT THEIR WORK FIRST ON STEEM AND SHOWCASE IT TO THE ENTIRE WORLD THAT WAY, adding even more true true value to the platform.
I am currently mucking about with final lighting, positions of projection screens and of course the logistics of livestreaming, so in the meantime any re-steems, whale support or (not begging but am really) or DLive support would be so much greatly supported in getting this off the ground it will happen regardless of support or not but it would be seriously appreciated and like I said in last post any posts using the tag videoart will be curated by me as I want to see that tag become more widely used and hopefully bring fellow artists out of the cave light ;)
I hope this was sufficient of an explanation but the bigger dream is obviously if whale support if given to be able to become an almost better
